ABOUT

hello, I'M jENNIFER,
A self-taught photographer born into this world some years ago, regrettably too late to experience the ’60s and ’70s, but fortunate enough to have lived in beautiful places like Hamburg, London, and Barcelona. Each of these cities has brought its own inspiration and challenges, influencing my creative outlook and refining my perspective behind the lens.
Photography began as a passion I explored on my own, but during my time in Barcelona, I chose to deepen my knowledge through formal studies, fully embracing the city’s vibrant artistic scene and evolving my skills as a photographer.
In 2023, my photographs became finalists in the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award and were exhibited at LUMA Arles. More nominations and exhibitions followed, including in Berlin at the BBA Gallery and at festivals like 'Nuit De La Photo' in Switzerland, 'GIOVANE FOTOGRAFIA ITALIANA,' and the Lumínic festival in Barcelona.
It turns out they have a thing for traveling—always eager to see new places. If you'd like to give them a permanent home on your wall (or just inquire), we'd love to hear from you—just say hello, wave goodbye (<- email link). Sizes available: 160x90 cm or 70x40 cm, limited edition, printed on Fine Art Baryta (325g).
Curious how they look in an exhibition space? You’ll find past shows, including Arles, over on my Instagram (sometimes I wish I had lived in another era, too). Prefer moving pictures? Click here for a video.
stay lit!

Through staged interiors and enigmatic narratives, my work blurs the line between what feels familiar and what feels uncanny. Rooted in a nostalgic aesthetic, my current (and ongoing project) 'Behind the facade' transforms everyday spaces into evocative worlds filled with hidden traces and subtle mysteries. Each image reflects the interplay between what we choose to reveal and what remains concealed, inviting viewers to project their own stories onto the scenes.
For me, photography is both an escape and a confrontation - a way to disconnect from (the weight of) everyday life and transform the thoughts lingering in my mind into tangible imagery.
